• relaxing until next semester starts in october!

  i went for a drive with my mom the other day and ended up on ocean drive where i grew up. for the record, it is in fact as beautiful as it looks on tv. we both needed to just go for a drive (she drove this time, she gets tense when i drive so i didn't push the issue) and just talk about stuff without being in the house. it makes things really awkward if you're discussing really personal stuff and you're trapped in your house, at least for us. we grabbed oreo blasts at dunkin donuts and then from there we drove all the way down to where i grew up on ocean drive which really isn't anything special. beautiful yeah, but there's nothing to do there. we talked about everything and nothing if that makes sense. i feel so much better about a lot of things now, and i didn't think she would, but she understands how i divided up my life into two parts: before and after my dad left and the songs that make up both parts. she said she did that too and that the song "i'll never get over you getting over me" by expose was one of the songs that kind of overlaps between both. i never talk to my mom for some reason, we live in the same house but we don't talk much. laughed harder than i have in a while too. all in all it was a nice night away from everything!! next saturday i leave for a one week vacation in north carolina i am so excited about that. so last night i actually ended up going out with a guy who asked me out at ebx games the other day. we went and saw the kingdom but we had like an hour or so to kill before the movie. lots of awkward silences which told me right off we weren't gonna work out as a couple, ever. we played video games that was fun i love arcades. it turns out he's a marine and a pilot with 35 hours of aviation training, pretty cool i guess. i don't know, i didn't really like what i saw/talked to and i am not going to go on a second date with him. my mom encouraged me to at least go on one date to see because you never know what you're missing but obviously she was wrong on this one lmao. anyway it wasn't "sucky" but i definitely didn't have an amazing time and i think i am not gonna date again for a while after this experience LOL!!!

• i should start blogging again....yep yep!!

  so i started college and i am a freshman. the classes aren't as hard as i thought and i have a few great teachers. the worst for me is math because i'm just horrible at it. a few of my friends from high school are even there. the only bad part is that i started out being scared to death of going to college. but i came home friday feeling more mature than i ever have before in the best possible way. i love college and i love the feeling it gives me to be able to get there and back on the bus without having any help from anyone. i can follow a bus route and for me in the past two years that have been really hard, that's an accomplishment to get to school and back on my own without someone having to constantly give me directions. i won't get into the past two years now because i'm really over them and i'm really okay now, but really, today just proved to me i can do anything if i really want to (part of it thanks to criss and saying believe believe believe, it works i promise!!!) my friend kenny is even hooking me up with a job @ this store called loehmanns so i will be making my own $$$

  i'm going to start off this blog!! some guy just knocked on our door to ask if the laundry in the laundry room on our floor was ours, so my mom answers and she says "no it's not" he comes back five minutes later and knocks again, asking the same question. LOL w t f? some people are strange.
